What does that mean?

Here are two pieces to show you what is possible!

This first one, Call and Response, is from Lesson 12. This lesson is the lesson in which I introduce intervals and playing two notes at once in one hand.

Call and Response is a 5-finger, 5-note piece suitable for mid-stage beginners that uses the first five notes in A minor. It reinforces note reading while moving the hands to a new position. The repetition in the LH makes the piece easy to learn, while the variations in the RH "responses" keep it interesting. The groove is quite catchy!

This next video is of Elegy, from Lesson 24. This piece has a sophisticated harmony incorporating just a few sharps and flats while keeping the fingering and technique accessible to early intermediate players. The use of the pedal helps create the achingly beautiful mood fitting for an elegy.

Imagine being able to play one of these recital-worthy pieces for your friends! The Elegy could even be played at a funeral or memorial service.

You don't have to be a concert pianist or even an advanced pianist to begin finding fulfillment in playing meaningful music!

These are just two examples of the pieces I include in The Music Hub. In addition to over 70 other original works, I also include arrangements of folk songs, like
